The Visualizer
You can use the page number display and the arrows on the lower right corner to navigate the document. The bar at the bottom of the page allows various actions on the document you are viewing. It is divided in three parts :
- Information: shows the bibliographic record data aside the image.
- Display thumbnails: shows all the images of the document side by side.
- Two pages: shows always two pages side by side, as they would physically on the original document.
- Single Page: shows only one page of the document (default mode).
- Print or download the document: Enables to retrieve a single page or a selection of the document.
- Find: searches for a term inside the document.
- View the OCR text of the document: During digitalization an optical character recognition (OCR) software is used wherever possible. It enables to recognize as much as possible each character in the document. You can then display the text.
- View the annotations: Displays any annotations concerning the present image and lets you create one.
- Display the image in negative.
- Adjust contrast: Changes the brightness of the image, which could be useful to distinguish certain information).
- Rotate the image
- Show / hide the overview: Enables to display the whole image in a small window. This is useful, if you wish to zoom in and move around the image.
- Optimal zoom: Displays the entire image.
Classic zoom tool. If you wish to know the zoom level, use the tool to show / hide overview tool.

- Navigation arrows, which allow you to pass to different images within the document.
